Alicia Kiyvyra

CO-FOUNDER AND HEAD PROJECT WRANGLER
 

Alicia is co-founder, boss lady, and primary food rescuer and deliverer of To Be Well Fed. She is mother to 3 boys and 1 rescue pup, and an abstract artist with a PhD in Forest Engineering (Oregon State University), M.S. in Agroforestry (Virginia Tech), B.S. in Agronomy, and a B.A. in English Literature (University of Maryland). She is a NOLS graduate (Wind River Range, WY, 1992) and a returned Peace Corps volunteer from Paraguay, where she improved small farm sustainability in rural communities by promoting soil conservation, cover cropping, and crop diversification.

Dave Kiyvyra

CO-FOUNDER AND LEAD MEAL PACKER
 

Dave is co-founder and President of To Be Well Fed, a father to 3 boys with his spouse Alicia, and a true Washington D.C. native. He holds a M.A. in Education Policy and Planning from The George Washington University, and is currently the Director of Development for Lindamood-Bell for Schools. Dave has worked in implementing professional development for literacy instructional programs in over 30 states across the U.S. and internationally (Hong Kong, Taipei, Honduras, Jamaica, Japan, London, Myanmar, and Singapore). He has completed a program evaluation of a $2.1 million Race to the Top grant, and designed and wrote a research project on the role of principals in the implementation of RtI.
